How to replace an Isilon Drive

uname -r

isi pkg info

isi status

isi devices -a smartfail -d [node number]:bay[put number here]

If you get an error like:
!! The 'smartfail' action is invalid for a REPLACE drive/bay.
That means the drive is either dead or your command is invalid
remove drive 1st then issue these commands:

isi devices -a add -d 8:6
<<<Now wait for it to initialize be very patient!!!!>>>

Issue this command only if your status does not look like this via the gui
"isi devices -a format -d 8:6"

If you get this error
!! The 'format' action is invalid for a PREPARING drive/bay.

That means you are NOT PATIENT, and you need to wait

    1. it means one of your boot drives is dying. You'll need to replace it with a SanDisk SDSA4AH-008g
